Priority Pass even works here for Terminal 1 departures

Staff at Terminal 2 security can manually open the gate so Priority Pass travelers flying from Terminal 1 can enter, use the Airlines Lounge Terminal 2, then get let back out to return to T1. The lounge sits on a balcony above the Terminal 2 transit hall, clearly signposted as “Airport Lounge” near the non-Schengen gates. It’s a shared contract lounge used by most full-service carriers in T2 plus Priority Pass and Diners Club programs.

Opening hours commonly track daytime departures in Terminal 2, roughly from early morning bank to late evening flights, but check your day’s schedule as times move with the timetable. Access is airside in Terminal 2, after security, up one level to the balcony area. If you’re using the T1 workaround, leave at least 20–25 minutes to walk back and clear any passport check before boarding.

Food is standard contract-lounge fare: expect cold snacks like bread, cheese, and packaged items rather than cooked meals, plus coffee machines and soft drinks included in entry. Alcohol is typically self-serve with basic beer and wine; spirits selection is thin. You won’t eat a full dinner here, but it beats paying terminal prices for a quick bite and drink between flights.

Seating runs along the balcony with views of the Terminal 2 transit hall below, so you can see passenger flow and gate screens from your armchair. That same open layout means noise drifts up during busy periods, especially around evening departures. Power outlets sit along some wall seats and near a few central tables, so if you need to charge, walk the room once and claim a socketed spot.

Free Wi‑Fi comes via the airport network, and coverage inside the lounge is generally solid for email, streaming short videos, or doing a quick Teams call. Restrooms are inside the lounge itself, so you don’t have to re-enter through the desk every time. That, plus the balcony overview, makes it an easy place to stay put for an hour or two between flights.

Practical tip: If you’re departing from Terminal 1 and want this lounge, enter at Terminal 2 at least an hour before departure, use the Priority Pass access trick at T2 security, and plan your walk back to T1 like you’re changing terminals at a medium-sized hub.
