Samsung

3

Near the central concourse in Terminal 3, Samsung sits in the main departure shopping strip, easy to spot if you walk toward the larger duty-free zone. It’s post-security, so you only see it after immigration and the final bag scan. Think of it as a last check for cables, chargers, or noise-cancelling earbuds before you board at gates in the mid-30s to 40s.

Prices generally match Jakarta city mall levels for phones and tablets, but small accessories can run 5–15% higher than downtown, going by traveler reports from other CGK tech shops. You’ll see the usual Samsung Galaxy phones, watches, and earbuds, along with power banks and charging bricks. Staff normally handle tax-free paperwork quickly for international departures from Terminal 3.

The shop keeps typical Terminal 3 retail hours, roughly 06:00 to 23:00, which covers most Garuda Indonesia and international departures. Selection skews toward current-year Galaxy models and wearables rather than older budget devices, so don’t expect every low-end variant. If you just cracked a screen in Indonesia, you won’t get full repair service here, but you can at least grab a temporary device or accessories.

Watch your time if your boarding pass shows a gate in the 10s or 20s, as walking from Samsung in the main Terminal 3 concourse to those gates can eat 8–12 minutes. Plan your stop here first, then head to food or your gate so you’re not sprinting with a new phone box under your arm.
