Backup option in CGK Terminal 2 when your usual lounge falls through

Pura Indah Lounge sits airside in Terminal 2 at Soekarno–Hatta (CGK) and mainly works as a contract backup when JAS Premier or Plaza Premium aren’t on your boarding pass. It’s one of the older lounges in this terminal, so set expectations closer to “functional waiting room” than flagship space.

The lounge serves multiple airlines on a contract basis in T2, so you’ll usually get in via an airline invitation, premium cabin ticket, or certain card programs linked to contract access. Always check your boarding pass or app at CGK Terminal 2 check-in: if it doesn’t mention JAS Premier or Plaza Premium, staff often point you to Pura Indah instead.

Layout is basic: one main seating area, a small self-serve buffet counter, and a drink station, all within a few minutes’ walk of Terminal 2 gates. Seating is mostly standard armchairs in tight rows, so during evening departures around 18:00–22:00 it can feel crowded. If your flight leaves from a far T2 gate, give yourself at least 10–15 minutes to walk back.

Food is simple contract-lounge fare, with a short hot buffet and a few snack items that rotate through the day. Expect rice, noodles, and one or two protein dishes at mealtimes, plus packaged sweets or crackers between 11:00 and 17:00. Drinks usually mean soft drinks, water, tea and coffee; don’t bank on strong bar service here compared with some other CGK lounges.

Because it’s older stock, power outlets can be hit-or-miss, and you may need to share a plug with another traveller to charge a laptop or phone. Wi‑Fi is typically shared with the terminal network, so speed will vary with the broader Terminal 2 crowd, especially when multiple evening flights to regional hubs depart within the same hour.

Use Pura Indah Lounge when your only other option in CGK Terminal 2 is sitting at the public gate area, but keep airport shops in mind for better coffee or snacks if you have more than 90 minutes. Practical move: before you settle in, walk the space once, grab the rare seat near a working outlet, and stay light on food expectations.
