24/7 access in Terminal 2 when everything else goes dark

In CGK Terminal 2, Premier Lounge (often called JAS Premier) runs 24/7, so it becomes the default option for ultra-late or very early departures when other contract lounges shut. It sits airside in T2, used by multiple airlines as their contract lounge, and long-haul flyers mostly treat it as a place to sit, charge devices, and wait out odd-hour flights.

Layout, light, and where to sit

Regulars head straight for the window-side seats, which look directly onto the tarmac and let in plenty of natural light during the day. Those spots are quieter than the interior clusters near the buffet and reception, where noise from TV and conversations tends to collect. If you care about plane-spotting or just want fewer people walking past, aim for a window table as soon as you enter.

Food and drink: fine for a layover, not a meal stop

FlyerTalk reviews call the food “nothing fancy,” and that’s accurate: basic hot dishes, a couple of rice or noodle options, some snacks, and simple desserts. Expect self-serve soft drinks, coffee from machines, and limited alcohol if any, depending on airline setup and time of day. Treat it as fuel between flights, not a destination dinner; if you need a proper meal, eat in the main T2 concessions and then come here for coffee and a seat.

How regulars use it on overnight connections

Because Premier Lounge in T2 is flagged as 24/7 in the oneworld lounge finder, seasoned flyers often plan long overnight layovers around it, especially on red-eye departures. They bring their own neck pillow and layers, claim a quieter corner chair, and camp out for several hours instead of sitting in the public gate areas. Power outlets are present but not at every seat, so expect to share or rotate if the lounge fills up during peak bank times.

Watch out for noise and expectations

When multiple long-haul flights bank around the same hour, this lounge can get crowded, especially near the buffet line and TV zones. Staff turnover trays reasonably often, but food doesn’t change much through the day, so frequent users report “functional but boring” visits. Go in expecting seating, air-conditioning, Wi‑Fi, and bathrooms more comfortable than the terminal, not premium touches.

One practical tip

On an overnight or early-morning schedule in Terminal 2, eat in the main concourse first, then enter Premier Lounge and head straight for a tarmac-facing window seat near a power socket; it gives you light, views, and a workable base for a few hours.
