Gate-side refills at Hudson cut last-minute stress

Right in Terminal 1 at CFU, Hudson covers the basics you forgot or ran out of: toothbrushes, simple travel-size toiletries, neck pillows, headphones, snacks, and bottled water. Prices run higher than downtown Corfu supermarkets, but in line with typical European airport shops, so budget a few extra euros if you’re grabbing sunscreen or a power adapter before security calls your row.

Hudson sits airside in Terminal 1 after security, so you can walk over without risking a re-check; figure 5–10 minutes from most gates, including the low 1–5 stands used by many holiday charters. It opens early for morning departures and stays open until the last scheduled flights, which helps if your 06:00–08:00 departure window catches hotel breakfast before coffee shops at the airport wake up properly.

Snacks and drinks stack up in the usual way: bottled water, soft drinks, and basic packaged sweets, with single items often in the €2–€5 range. Don’t expect full hot meals here; this is more “grab a chocolate bar and crisps” territory, not a sit-down fix before a 3-hour hop. If you need a quick power bank or charging cable, Hudson usually has them near the counter beside the magazines and basic stationery.

Print magazines, puzzle books, and a few English-language paperbacks line one side of the shop, useful if you’re facing a 2–3 hour flight to central Europe with no seatback screens. Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport is small and can feel crowded in peak summer, so pick up water and snacks here in Terminal 1 before you get boxed into a bus boarding queue. Tip: buy any liquids over 100 ml in this shop after security to avoid issues at the single main checkpoint.
