Gate-side option in Terminal 1 before the smaller snack kiosks

Grain de Ble sits airside in Terminal 1 at Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport, past security and within a 5–7 minute walk of most Schengen gates. It runs through the main restaurant strip, so you see it shortly after duty free rather than down by the far gates. If your boarding pass suggests a bus gate, you’re still within a 3–4 minute walk back to the doors.

This is a basic café-restaurant setup: counter service, some tables, and prices that run higher than central Corfu. Expect coffee around €3–4, soft drinks close to €3, and simple sandwiches or pastries hovering in the €5–8 range. Hot dishes, when available, usually push above €10, so check the board before ordering a second drink. Card payment is the norm and contactless works fine for foreign cards.

Menu coverage leans on the usual airport mix: espresso drinks, bottled water, beers, packaged snacks, and reheated food. If you just need a quick bite before a 2–3 hour flight, stick with cold items like pre-made sandwiches and croissants; those tend to be more consistent than anything coming off the hot line. Portion sizes run smaller than what you’d see in town, so factor that into your order if you skipped lunch.

Seating is tight across Terminal 1 and Grain de Ble is no exception, especially in the July–August peak when CFU handles waves of UK and European holiday traffic. If you see more than 2–3 open tables, grab one before ordering at the counter. Practical move: use the free airport Wi‑Fi to pull boarding updates while you sit here, then leave when the screen shows your gate number rather than waiting for a last‑minute call.
