This Starbucks sits airside in Terminal T2 at Guangzhou Baiyun, handy when you’re killing time near your gate and want something familiar in China. It runs standard Starbucks recipes, so a latte, cappuccino, or Americano tastes close to what you get in North America or Europe, using the same espresso shots and milk ratios.

Prices land in the mid-to-high range for the airport: expect around ¥30–40 for a tall hot latte and closer to ¥40–50 for larger iced drinks or frappuccinos. Food is the usual reheated Starbucks mix: sandwiches, croissants, and sweet pastries, with most items between ¥20 and ¥35, so a drink plus snack easily hits ¥60–80.

Hours here typically track long-haul banks in T2, opening early morning for the first departures and staying open into late evening when international flights clear out. If you’re on a red-eye or land close to midnight, don’t count on it being open; in that window you may have better luck with a 24-hour convenience-style kiosk elsewhere in T2.

Order strategy is basic: hot lattes and Americanos are the safest options, and iced beverages are reliable when Guangzhou humidity kicks in. Expect seasonal specials on rotation, marked on the overhead boards, often at a slight premium of ¥3–5 per drink over the base recipes.

Lines build fast before morning waves around 07:00–09:00 and again late afternoon around 16:00–18:00, especially when several widebodies leave from T2. At those times, you’re looking at 10–20 minutes from queue to drink in hand, so don’t cut it close to boarding.

Tip: If the line is long and you just need caffeine, grab a bottled cold brew or canned coffee from the fridge by the counter; it usually cuts your wait down to under 2 minutes.
