Cafe Supreme

2

Terminal 2 has a Cafe Supreme that most guides ignore.

Cafe Supreme sits airside in Terminal 2 at Cairo International Airport, useful if you’re flying EgyptAir or another T2 carrier and just want coffee within a few minutes of your gate. It’s a basic café setup: counter service, pastries in a chilled case, and small tables that fill up fast during the evening bank of departures around 22:00–01:00.

You’re looking at standard airport pricing, roughly in line with other T2 spots; expect coffee drinks to land in the mid-range for CAI rather than budget street prices. Think espresso, cappuccino, and basic sandwiches rather than anything third‑wave or specialty. If you need a quick caffeine hit before a 02:30 long‑haul, this does the job better than hunting down a full restaurant in Terminal 2.

Food is mainly grab‑and‑go: pre‑made sandwiches, packaged snacks, and a small pastry selection that tends to dwindle later in the night, especially after 23:00. If you care about choice, stop earlier in the evening so you’re not stuck with whatever’s left on the bottom shelf. Don’t expect much for special diets beyond the occasional cheese or plain croissant.

Seating is tight, and power outlets are limited around the tables closest to the counter in Terminal 2’s main departures hall. If you need to charge a laptop before a 4–5 hour regional hop, it’s smarter to grab your drink here, then sit closer to your actual gate where the seating typically has more plugs and fewer people camping for hours.

Tip: if you have under 20 minutes before boarding starts at a nearby Terminal 2 gate, order something simple like an Americano or bottled drink at Cafe Supreme; made‑to‑order items can slow you down when the line stacks up during the late‑night wave.
