Gate-side in T2, this is BVA’s main sit-down French spot
Le Petit Restaurant sits airside in Terminal 2, just past security, and runs daily from 09:00 to 20:00. It’s one of the few full-service French restaurants in the airport, so plan for a proper meal rather than a quick grab-and-go. With a $$$ price tier and a 4.2 rating, it skews more “last meal in France” than budget layover snack.
The menu leans classic: the headline is the coq au vin, which is the signature dish and the main reason to budget both time and money here. Expect mains in the higher end of airport pricing, with starters and desserts priced to match the $$$ tier. If you only have time for one course, go straight for the coq au vin and a glass of house wine rather than grazing through multiple smaller plates.
Service pace in T2 usually tracks flight banks, with the busiest windows around late-morning departures from 10:00 to 12:00 and early evening flights between 17:00 and 19:00. Build at least 45 minutes into your schedule if you’re ordering a full meal, and closer to an hour if you want a starter and dessert. This is a sit-down operation, not a fast-casual counter.
Figure on airport-inflated pricing: a full meal with a drink can easily push past €30 at a $$$ spot like this. The trade-off is real plates, table service, and an actual restaurant feel in Terminal 2 instead of a bar stool and a reheated sandwich. If you just need a quick bite under €15, you’re better off grabbing something from another stand before you commit here.
Tip: Since Le Petit Restaurant is post-security in T2 only, clear security first, then eat; don’t assume you can walk over from T1 without re-checking your gate and timing.
