T1’s sit-down option when you want more than a sandwich
In Terminal T1 at Beauvais-Tillé, Brasserie Le Faubourg is one of the few places where you can actually sit, order from a menu, and linger a bit before a Ryanair or Wizz Air flight. It runs typical daytime hours tied to departures, so expect it open for the morning wave and into the early evening, but not late-night. Prices land in standard French-airport territory: think around €12–€18 for mains and €3–€5 for coffee or soft drinks.
The menu leans French brasserie: you’ll usually see burgers around €15, salads in the low teens, and classic plates like steak-frites when the kitchen is fully on. There are desserts like a basic crème brûlée or chocolate cake in the €5–€7 range. It sits airside in T1 after security, so you’re already through checks by the time you sit down, and you can watch boarding screens from most tables.
Service runs at typical provincial-French pace, not a 10‑minute dash. Plan on 30–45 minutes for a full sit-down meal here, especially in the busy 06:00–10:00 and 17:00–20:00 departure banks. A coffee and pastry can be done faster, closer to 15 minutes, but full hot dishes tend to bunch up when two or three flights go off the same gates.
Food quality gets described as “fine for an airport” and portions are decent for the price point, especially compared with the grab‑and‑go kiosks elsewhere in T1 and T2. Drink options include beer and wine by the glass for around €5–€7, plus basic cocktails when staff levels allow. If you just need a quick bite, the starter section and kids’ items usually come out faster than the heavier mains.
Tip: if your gate in T1 shows boarding in under 25 minutes, skip a hot main here and stick to coffee, a drink, or a dessert so you’re not sprinting to last call.
