EB Flatbread

Gate-side flatbreads and local beer before North/South departures

EB Flatbread sits past security in the main concourse between the North and South gates, so you can eat here regardless of which side you’re flying from. It runs on airport hours, generally opening early enough for the morning bank and staying open into the early evening, but late-night departures out of BTV may find it closed.

As the name promises, flatbread pizza is the move, with most individual pies landing in the roughly $12–$18 range depending on toppings. Expect a thinner crust, toppings like veggies, sausage, or pepperoni, and enough food to count as a full meal before a flight to ORD, JFK, or ATL. Portion size is better than grabbing a small pre-made sandwich from another stand in the terminal.

Draft beer and wine show up on the menu here, often including at least one Vermont brewery tap in the $8–$10 range. That makes EB Flatbread one of the more relaxed sit-down options at BTV if you want a real drink instead of a bottled beer from a cooler near gate 5. It’s bar seating plus standard tables, so solo travelers can usually slide onto a stool pretty quickly.

Service pace varies with the schedule of the United, Delta, and American banks, and flatbreads can take 10–20 minutes to hit the table. Plan accordingly if you’re on a short hop to Boston or LaGuardia and boarding starts 30 minutes before departure. Food comes out hot, so this is not a 5-minute in-and-out stop.

Tip: If your flight leaves from the South gates (like JetBlue at gate 15), sit on the concourse side facing your gate so you can watch boarding start while you wait for your flatbread.
