Diamond Lounge B

B

Pier B’s airport-run lounge beats playing airline roulette

In Terminal T’s Pier B non-Schengen zone, Diamond Lounge B sits as Brussels Airport’s own contract lounge, next to airline-run spaces like The Loft and The Suite. If your access comes via Priority Pass or a lounge network instead of a specific carrier, this is usually the default option on the B side when flying to the UK, US, Africa, or other non-Schengen routes.

Diamond Lounge B is past security in Pier B, so you clear formalities first, then follow the B-gate signs and lounge symbols; walking time from central security to the lounge entrance averages 8–10 minutes. Entry works with Priority Pass, LoungeKey, and pay-in at the desk when there’s space, making it one of the few spots at BRU where you can buy access without flying a particular airline or cabin.

The buffet setup changes through the day, but you usually see basics like cold cuts and cheese at breakfast and simple hot trays later on; don’t expect a full restaurant, just enough to build a reasonably filling plate before a long-haul from a B gate. Soft drinks, coffee machines, and standard self-serve spirits are included, so you won’t be paying per drink once you’re inside.

Seating spreads across several zones with views toward the B pier stands, so you can often spot widebodies parked on gates like B04 or B08 while you wait. Power outlets cluster around the walls and some seating islands, so walk a full loop of the room before settling to find a socket, especially during morning banks for US-bound flights at B gates.

Regulars treat Diamond Lounge B as the “generic” non-Schengen option when alliance rules or Priority Pass eligibility apply, particularly on carriers without their own lounge in Pier B. If you’ve seen mentions of “The View” being the standby B-pier lounge during previous disruptions, note that Diamond Lounge B now sits in the main Brussels Airport-managed lounge group instead.

Practical tip: aim to arrive at Pier B about 90 minutes before departure, clear security, then check Diamond Lounge B first; if it’s heaving ahead of a bank of widebody departures, you still have enough time to bail and grab a seat at a nearby B-gate restaurant instead.
