P15

Free parking

$0 per day on airport property is the whole point of P15

P15 is the free car park at Bari Karol Wojtyła International Airport (BRI), marked as a separate lot from paid options like PM and P1–P4. The published layout shows around 208 spaces, so it’s limited compared with the larger long‑stay areas. You trade distance for price here: you keep your parking bill at $0 per day and pay with a longer walk or extra time to reach Terminal T1.

Official info lists P15 as free parking 24/7, with no daily cap and no ticket barrier, unlike the paid multi‑storey or short‑stay lots closer to T1. The daily rate of $0 stacks up well against the standard long‑stay prices in P2–P4, which start charging from the first day. If you’re leaving the car for three or four days, that’s real money saved versus the paid car parks on the same airport grounds.

The catch: P15 sits farther from Terminal T1 than P1–P4, and signage on Italian airport lots can be sparse, so build in an extra 10–15 minutes to walk or sort out a ride from the car park to departures. With only about 208 spots, it can fill during July–August peak holiday weekends, while the paid lots still have capacity. If you arrive late in the morning bank of departures, expect to hunt a bit for an open space.

Tip: aim to reach P15 at least 90 minutes before a Schengen flight from T1, or 2 hours for non‑Schengen, so you have time to find a space, walk or shuttle in, and clear security without rushing.
