Only Priority Pass lounge for domestic flights in T1

By the D gates in Terminal 1, The Lounge Bogota is basically the single Priority Pass-style option for domestic departures at El Dorado, open daily until 00:00. Access works with Priority Pass and similar bank memberships, plus walk-in pay-per-use if space allows.

This is in the domestic D-gate side of T1, so Avianca D-gate passengers have it easy: clear security once, follow the D signage, and you’re at the lounge without extra checkpoints. Space is generally reported as decent with a good food and beverage spread for Colombia, so it beats waiting at a random gate seat.

LATAM flyers on C-gates have the headache. Domestic C and D in Terminal 1 are not airside-connected, and FlyerTalk regulars warn that going from C security to the D-gate Priority Pass lounge can add 30 minutes or more thanks to walking plus multiple security checks. If your boarding time is inside 45 minutes, skip the lounge and stay at C.

One FlyerTalk strategy for LATAM: on arrival at T1, first clear security at D-gates, use The Lounge Bogota for food, drinks, and Wi‑Fi, then exit back through arrivals and re-enter through C-gate security for your actual flight. That keeps you from bouncing back and forth while watching the clock panic up.

Food reviews mention a solid F/B selection for a domestic lounge: hot items at meal times, snacks outside peak, and standard soft drinks plus alcoholic options included. It’s not a full restaurant, but you can easily make a light meal before a regional hop and avoid paying 30,000–40,000 COP for a basic terminal sandwich and drink combo.

The main hard limit is the midnight closure: Amex lists the lounge closing at 00:00, matching user reports. Late-night domestic departures after 23:30 often get only a short stop, and anyone on very late or delayed flights ends up in the regular seating once staff start kicking people out before midnight.

Tip: On LATAM domestic out of C, only bother with The Lounge Bogota if you can be at D security at least 90 minutes before departure; otherwise, the walk and double security are more stress than they’re worth.
