Gate-side snacks and gifts at Australian Produce Store

Just past security in the International terminal, Australian Produce Store doubles as a last-minute snack stop and souvenir run before you hit passport control. You’ll see it on the airside concourse walking toward the main long-haul gates. Expect typical airport pricing: chips and confectionery a few dollars above supermarket level, but still reasonable for BNE.

The shelves lean hard into Australian brands: Tim Tams, honey, macadamias, locally themed chocolates, and jars of sauces and relishes. It’s a straightforward place to grab edible gifts that actually say “Australia” on the label instead of generic duty free. Prepacked boxes of biscuits and nut mixes work well for carry-on and usually sit in the AUD 10–25 range.

You can also stock up on travel basics here: bottled water, soft drinks, grab-and-go snacks, plus some small toiletries and over-the-counter items. If you skipped breakfast in Domestic, this is a quick way to pick up something before a 9–11 hour long-haul. Lines tend to move quickly because most purchases are simple grab-and-pay.

International security at BNE can bunch up around the late-evening departure bank, so don’t leave this stop for the last 5 minutes before boarding. Give yourself at least 10–15 minutes to browse, pay, and walk to the more distant International gates.
