Two-minute walk from Brisbane International terminal doors
P1 Parking sits directly opposite the Brisbane International terminal, so you’re usually inside the check-in hall in under 2–3 minutes on foot. It’s a multi-level, short-stay structure aimed at quick trips, drop-offs that run long, and business travel where shaving 10 minutes off the walk actually matters. You park, wheel your bag into the lift, cross the road, and you’re at Departures on Level 4 of the International terminal.
This is short-stay pricing, not long-term value: daily rates run higher than the International Long Term car park and off-airport lots within the Brisbane Airport precinct. P1 offers covered parking across multiple levels, which helps in summer heat and Queensland storms, and there are pay stations near the lifts so you can pay before you get back to your car. If you’re doing a same-day return or an overnight work trip, the extra cost over Long Term often nets out to under $20–$30 once you factor in transfer time.
P1 serves International flights only; for Qantas or Virgin domestic services you’re better off using the Domestic terminal car parks, about 2 km away by road. Lifts connect every level to the ground-level pedestrian crossing that lines up with the International terminal entry doors. Height clearance in the P1 structure is tighter than open-air options, so double-check your vehicle height against the posted limit at the ramp before you commit to the entry lane.
There’s no need for shuttle buses here, and that’s the whole point: many frequent flyers park on Level 3 or 4 to cut lift time, then walk straight into the International Departures check-in area. Payment accepts cards and contactless at both exit gates and indoor machines. One tip: book P1 online through Brisbane Airport’s official parking portal a few days ahead; advance bookings often price noticeably lower than the casual drive-up rate displayed at the entry boards.
