Economy Lot

Long-term

Max daily rate under $15, but it’s the furthest on-airport lot

Economy Lot (signed as Economy A) sits on airport property at BLI’s Main terminal and targets price-sensitive long‑term parking, with published guidance showing either $10 or $14 per 24 hours depending on which airport page you read. It’s not the closest walk, but it usually undercuts the Main and Premium lots on total cost for multi‑day trips.

The official parking guide from November 8, 2021 lists Economy A at a maximum of $10 per 24 hours in one chart, then $14 per 24 hours in another, so treat those numbers as a ballpark, not a promise. Regulars mention checking the current posted rate at the lot entrance and on the airport site the week you fly, then using Economy A only if the sign still undercuts the other on‑site options for your length of stay.

All BLI lots, including Economy A, give the first 30 minutes free, which helps for quick drop‑offs or if you pull in by mistake and bail. After that grace window, you roll into the daily Economy rate, so if you’re on the fence between a curb pickup and running in for someone, watch the clock and aim to be out again by minute 29.

Oversized vehicle stalls specifically live in Economy A according to the airport’s parking guide, so RVs, tall vans, and long trucks should head here instead of trying to squeeze into the closer Main lot. If you’re driving something bigger than a standard SUV, plan on Economy A from the start and avoid circling other lots only to end up here anyway.

Practical move: screenshot the latest BLI parking rate chart before you leave home, then compare that to the Economy A sign at the entrance; if the posted daily max is creeping above $14, quickly reassess how many days you’re staying and whether a rideshare or drop‑off pencils out better.
