Pad Thai runs about 300–350 THB at this Main Terminal Thai spot

Ross Kitchen sits landside in Suvarnabhumi’s Main terminal, so you can eat here before checking in or after landing if you’re meeting someone. It’s a mid-range option (roughly $$ by airport standards), with most mains around 280–400 THB and soft drinks in the 80–120 THB range. Expect a full-service setup with proper tables rather than a food court stall, so build in at least 45–60 minutes if you’re tight on a departure time.

The menu leans local: think tom yum goong, green curry, pad kra pao, and fried rice with prawns, alongside a few safer dishes like chicken fried rice and spring rolls. Spice levels can run high on items like som tam and pad kra pao, so ask for "less spicy" if you’re not used to Thai heat. Portion sizes are closer to city-restaurant norms than tiny airport plates, and sharing two or three dishes for two people usually lands around 700–900 THB before service charge.

There’s table service, so you’ll get a printed bill and pay at the end, with a line item service charge typically around 10%. Beer is available by the bottle, usually in the 140–200 THB range, and there are standard juices and sodas if you want something non-alcoholic. Vegetarian options exist—pad Thai with tofu and mixed vegetable stir-fries—but they’re a smaller part of the menu than the meat and seafood dishes, so scan the menu carefully if you’re avoiding fish sauce.

Because Ross Kitchen is outside the secure area of the Main terminal, you still need to allow 20–30 minutes after eating to get through security and walk to a typical international gate. Use the restaurant’s Wi‑Fi and a boarding pass time check before ordering that extra curry; once you’re airside, you won’t be able to come back out to finish a meal here.
