Zone 4 sits on the short-stay side of Suvarnabhumi
Car Park Zone 4 serves short-stay cars and motorcycles right by the Main terminal at Suvarnabhumi (BKK). It’s a good fit for drop-offs, quick pick-ups, or leaving a bike while you run inside to meet someone. You’re paying short-stay rates here, so think hours rather than days when you park.
This is one of the designated motorcycle areas on the airport road system around the Main terminal, so bikes aren’t just squeezed between cars. If you ride in from central Bangkok, Zone 4 lets you park close enough to walk to departures in just a few minutes, instead of hunting for street parking on the access roads.
Zone 4 also handles regular cars on short-stay tariffs by the hour, which works for runs of 1–6 hours like check-in help, escorting elderly relatives, or meeting arriving passengers. For anything stretching into overnight (more than 12–24 hours), the long-term multi-storey car parks on the Main terminal side usually work out cheaper per day than sitting in Zone 4 on short-stay pricing.
Payments in the official Suvarnabhumi car parks, including Zone 4, typically go through automated booths at the exits, taking cash in Thai baht and, at many lanes, common cards. Keep the entry ticket on you, not in checked luggage, or you’ll be stuck paying a lost-ticket fee that can run higher than a few hours of normal parking.
Practical tip: if you’re dropping someone for a late-night departure, circle once and aim for a spot closer to the pedestrian paths toward the Main terminal so the walk with bags stays under 5–7 minutes.
