Gate-side fashion in T1 before security feels sparse

Fashion Boutique sits in Terminal T1 at Guanajuato International Airport (BJX), in the small commercial strip by the check-in counters. The terminal isn’t packed with shops, so this is one of the few spots to grab clothes or accessories if you want something less touristy than the souvenir stands. Expect a compact space with racks of women’s and some men’s apparel plus handbags and accessories.

Prices run higher than León or Guanajuato city centers; think airport markup on shirts, dresses, and bags. You’re paying in pesos, and most cards go through without trouble, but bring a backup if your bank likes to flag foreign airport charges. Stock skews dressy-casual: tops, dresses, light jackets, and fashion accessories that work for a meeting in León or a dinner in Guanajuato’s centro.

The shop keeps roughly the same schedule as the morning and evening flight banks in T1, so you’ll usually find it open from early morning departures through late-night arrivals. If you’re connecting on domestic flights from Mexico City or Tijuana into BJX, you’re still in T1, so it’s easy to pass by between check-in and security. It’s landside, so friends or family seeing you off can shop too.

There’s no strong online chatter about specific standout items here, and no big complaints either, which fits BJX’s overall low-key profile and small size. Treat it as a backup option if your suitcase missed a dress code: grab a blouse, light blazer, or handbag, then head through security; don’t burn more than 10–15 minutes here if your flight boards within 45.
