Pharmacy

Gate-side meds and basics near Domestic departures

About a 3-minute walk from the Domestic check-in area, Pharmacy is the airport stop for last-minute prescriptions, painkillers, and travel-size health items. It sits landside before security, so you can use it even if you’re picking someone up or haven’t checked in yet. Stock leans Turkish brands, with some familiar international labels on the shelves.

Expect standard Turkish pharmacy pricing: basic pain relief or cold tablets often run around 70–150 TRY, and small sunscreen bottles or insect repellent can hit 250–400 TRY. Shelves usually carry bandaids, antiseptic cream, saline solution, and motion-sickness tablets, which helps if you’re heading into Bodrum by car or boat. Payment works with major cards and contactless, so no need to pull cash just for this stop.

Opening hours typically track flight banks, roughly 06:00 until the late-night departures around 23:00 in both summer and shoulder seasons. If you’re on an early-morning charter, expect it to be one of the first shops with lights on. The counter staff often speaks at least basic English plus Turkish, and can usually point you toward headache, stomach, or allergy options fast.

One limitation: being landside, Pharmacy is less useful if you’re already in the International departures area after passport control. In that case, plan to buy any regular meds or hygiene items here before you clear security. Practical move: snap a photo of your prescription label at home and show it at the counter; it speeds up finding the closest local equivalent.
