P2 sits a short walk from T1 with covered spaces
P2 is the covered car park next to Il Caravaggio International Airport’s T1 terminal, useful if you want your car sheltered from Bergamo rain or summer sun. It’s an official on-airport lot, so you park inside the airport perimeter rather than in an off-site facility. The walk to departures at T1 is only a few minutes on foot, so you don’t need to factor in shuttle time.
This is one of the airport’s structured, multi-level car parks, giving you covered parking instead of open-air spaces like in some of the other BGY lots. Being an on-site facility run by Milan Bergamo Airport, entry and exit use the same ticket barriers and payment machines as the rest of the airport parking network. You drive directly to T1 and follow the P2 signs on the internal airport roads.
P2 also includes a luggage storage option, useful if you’re flying out of T1 and don’t want to drag non-essential bags through security and onto the plane. The baggage service is integrated with the same covered parking area, so you can drop items, park, and walk across to the terminal. Check current opening hours for the storage counter on the Milan Bergamo Airport website before you rely on it for an early-morning or late-night flight.
Online prebooking through the airport’s official parking system usually gives better daily rates than paying at the P2 exit barrier. Because P2 is covered and close to T1, it can fill up faster than the more distant open-air car parks, especially around peak holiday periods from June to August. One practical tip: screenshot your booking with the "P2" label and keep it ready at the entry gate so you don’t waste time picking the wrong lane or ticket machine.
