Valet

3-minute walk from the terminal, but you don’t do the walking

BGM’s Valet Parking sits steps from the Greater Binghamton/Edwin A. Link Field terminal, about a 3-minute walk if you were parking yourself. You pull up curbside, hand over the keys, and they park the car in the designated valet area while you head straight into the small terminal. For early morning departures out of Binghamton, skipping the self-park search can easily save 10–15 minutes.

This is full-service valet, not just a drop-and-go zone. Staff take your car, log your return flight details, and keep the vehicle in the on-airport lot for the length of your trip. Pricing is set per day, so it scales cleanly whether you’re gone for one night or a full week. Because BGM is a regional airport, demand is lighter than at big hubs, so you’re not typically stuck in a 20-car queue at pickup.

Valet Parking at BGM works well if you’re juggling checked bags or flying with kids and don’t want to haul suitcases across the parking areas. Flights here are limited compared with Syracuse or Ithaca, so the lot never feels like the 2,000-car maze you get at larger fields. You still stay on airport property the whole time, so there’s no shuttle van loop or 10-minute off-site ride to factor into your timing.

Tip: Build a 10-minute buffer at drop-off and pickup in winter; Binghamton snow and ice can slow down car retrieval, even when the terminal is only a short 3-minute walk away.
