When The Lagan Bar at T1 is packed, people drift here
Sip & Stone sits airside in Terminal 1 at Belfast International (BFS) and fills the gap when The Lagan Bar tables are all taken. It runs typical early-to-last-flight hours, so you can usually get a sit-down meal and a pint before a 06:30 departure or an evening Ryanair hop after 20:00.
The menu leans pub-grill: expect burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches and breakfast plates rather than anything experimental. Prices run in standard airport territory, with mains generally landing in the low-to-mid teens in pounds and a beer costing a few quid more than in town. You order at table, not via an app, which makes it easier if you land without roaming data.
Bar service is central here. Sip & Stone pours draft beers, house wines by the glass, and basic spirits with mixers, so you can still get a Guinness or a gin and tonic when the bar at The Lagan is three-deep. If you care about speed and have 40 minutes or less before boarding from a T1 gate, stick to a drink and a quick starter instead of a full main.
Seating runs along the terminal concourse with a clear view of T1 departure screens, so you can keep an eye on a 12:15 easyJet gate change without leaving your table. Power outlets are mixed; you’ll find a few at wall tables but not at every two-top. Noise level tracks the flight banks, so expect it to spike around the 06:00–08:00 and 17:00–19:00 waves.
Practical tip: if your flight leaves from a low-number T1 gate, give yourself a 10–15 minute walk buffer from Sip & Stone at the main departures area so you’re not legging it down the pier with a takeaway coffee.
