Gate-side self-care stop near Terminal 1 departures
Just past security in Terminal 1, Rituals lands right in the main shopping strip, so you’ll walk by it on the way to most Schengen gates. It’s a standard mall-style unit, not a kiosk, with full shelves of bath, body, and home fragrance products you can actually test before buying. If you forgot face cream or hand lotion on a long-haul to BER, this is the easiest place in T1 to restock something that doesn’t feel like generic airport cosmetics.
Pricing runs at normal German high-street levels: expect around €10–€13 for hand soaps, roughly €10–€15 for shower foams, and gift sets starting close to €25. That’s in line with Berlin city stores, so you’re not paying an obvious terminal premium. They often run 2-for deals or bundle promos, and staff usually mention them in English if you’re holding more than one item at the till.
Stock leans heavily on their main lines like The Ritual of Sakura and The Ritual of Ayurveda, including travel-size shower foams around 50 ml that pass EU liquid rules without drama. Reed diffusers, room sprays, and candles do show up, but those are better if you’re heading home via Terminal 1 than connecting, since glass plus tight overhead bins is a bad combo on a full A320.
Figure 5–10 minutes for a quick in-and-out visit, slightly more at evening peaks when departures from A and B gates bunch up. One practical move: grab travel-size hand cream at Rituals, then fill your water bottle at a fountain nearby so your liquids bag is sorted in one go before boarding.
