Capi

1

At Terminal 1, Capi is BER’s tech stop when something breaks.

You’ll find Capi in Terminal 1 after security, handy if your charger dies or you forgot headphones. It’s a compact electronics shop, but the shelves skew airport-relevant: travel adapters, power banks, cables, headphones and smaller cameras. Expect typical airport pricing, so bring a budget in the €20–€60 range for basics like branded earbuds or a decent power bank.

The store focuses on last-minute tech fixes rather than big-ticket gear; you’re more likely to see mid-range headphones under €150 than flagship laptops or pro camera bodies. Stock changes, but there’s usually at least one budget option for each category (think €10–€15 cables and low-cost wired earbuds) alongside higher-end brands. If you’re flying from Terminal 1 with an early-morning departure, plan to shop after security since airside branches typically open with the first wave of flights.

Staff at Capi in Terminal 1 are used to passengers rushing for flights, so transactions are quick and most products are in grab-and-go displays. Packaging is usually sealed, so factor in a few extra minutes to check compatibility (USB-C vs Lightning, EU plug vs UK/US). Keep your boarding pass handy; some items can be sold tax-free for long-haul non-EU departures, especially if your ticket shows a non-Schengen destination.

Practical tip: before paying, plug a demo cable or charger into your phone at the counter to confirm it fits your USB-C, Lightning or micro-USB port, so you don’t end up with an unusable gadget at gate A20.
