Right after security in Terminal 2, Heinemann Duty Free is your main shop stop.
Heinemann Duty Free in BER Terminal 2 sits just past security, so you walk straight through it on the way to most gates. This is the standard walk-through format: cosmetics and perfume at the front, liquor and tobacco in the middle, snacks and souvenirs toward the exits. Prices are typical EU duty free: some spirits under supermarket levels, sweets roughly similar to city supermarkets, and premium cosmetics rarely a true bargain.
The liquor shelves focus on big European brands, with German gin and herbal liqueurs in the €12–€30 range and major whiskies stretching up well past €50. Cigarettes and rolling tobacco sit in a separate corner with clear allowance signs for EU and non‑EU travelers. If you only have 10–15 minutes before boarding in Terminal 2, this is the most efficient place to grab a bottle or carton without hunting for smaller kiosks.
Food is mostly travel snacks and gifts: Ritter Sport and other German chocolate in multi‑packs, Haribo bags, plus some regional tins and biscuits in the €5–€15 band. You also see standard travel conveniences like power adapters, basic headphones, and small toiletries, generally a few euros above what you’d pay in Berlin city shops. No fresh food counter here, so don’t expect sandwiches or hot items; those are outside in the main Terminal 2 concessions.
Tip: if your gate is at the far end of Terminal 2, buy liquids here once, pack them tight, and skip browsing the smaller stands nearer the gates, which usually have higher per‑item prices and thinner stock.
