Gate-side option in old Terminal 1
Ten minutes from most T1 check-in counters, Restoran Bistro sits landside in Belgrade’s older terminal, so you can use it before security for either T1 or T2 flights. It runs standard daytime hours that roughly track the morning and early afternoon bank of departures, then quiets down once the late flights thin out. Think basic airport bistro: hot dishes, sandwiches, coffee, beer, and soft drinks, all at Serbia-level prices, not Western Europe shock.
Expect espresso and macchiato in the 200–300 RSD range, with simple pastries slightly higher than in the city but still acceptable for an airport. Food leans toward familiar café plates: omelets, salads, burgers, and a couple of Serbian-style mains that rotate. Service is old-school Belgrade: not rushed, not overly chatty, but generally polite and efficient enough if you have a 60–90 minute buffer before boarding.
Cards are accepted, including most foreign Visa and Mastercard issued outside Serbia, and bills come printed with prices in RSD only. Seating is standard two- and four-tops with a few bar stools; you’re right in the T1 hall, so you’ll hear check-in announcements for Wizz and charter flights. Power outlets are limited to a few wall spots, so if you need to charge a laptop before heading to security, grab those seats first.
Use Restoran Bistro as a coffee-and-sit-down stop while waiting for friends or after an airport bus or taxi ride; then head through security to T2 for more modern options closer to the gates.
