Exchange Office

T2

Right after T2 security, this Exchange Office is your first stop

This Exchange Office sits airside in Terminal T2, just beyond security and before most gates. Rates use the Serbian dinar (RSD) as the base, with euro and US dollar conversions posted on digital boards. Staff usually handle transactions in under 3 minutes per person, so even a small line moves quickly. It’s a basic counter, cash-only service for most currencies, focused on speed more than extras.

Hours typically mirror T2’s main flight bank, opening early morning around 05:00 and staying open until late evening departures finish. You’ll see buy/sell rates for EUR, USD, CHF and GBP listed separately, plus a handful of regional currencies. The board shows both cash buy and cash sell, so check which column applies to you before handing over money. Minimum exchange amounts are low, often around €10–20 equivalent.

ATMs from Serbian banks sit within about 30–40 meters of the counter, so you can compare the posted exchange rate with what your bank card might cost you. The Exchange Office usually posts a clear commission line on the receipt, often a fixed fee rather than a percentage. They take worn foreign notes, but heavily damaged bills may be refused. You can also swap leftover dinars back into euros or dollars before departure, subject to daily limits.

Bring smaller home-currency notes (like €20 or $20) to stay flexible on how much you convert; it’s easier than breaking large bills at the food outlets closer to the T2 gates.
