First 15 minutes at P1 Short-Term Parking are usually free
P1 Short-Term Parking sits directly in front of the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport terminal area, closest to T2 departures. This is the quick-stop lot for fast drop-offs, pick-ups, and walk-in check-ins. You park at ground level, then walk a few dozen meters to the terminal doors, so there’s no shuttle, no extra transfers, and no stairs or elevators to deal with.
This P1 lot is built for stays under a couple of hours, not overnight. Pricing is charged per hour, and costs climb quickly once you move beyond the first hour or two, so long-term parking works out cheaper in the other airport lots. Barrier arms control entry and exit, and you pull a ticket at the gate, then pay at a machine before you drive out.
Short-Term Parking P1 serves both T1 and T2, but the walk to T2 is the shortest, usually under 3 minutes at a normal pace. If you are meeting an arriving passenger in T1, budget a couple of extra minutes to cross the forecourt. The walking route is flat and fully paved, so rolling full-size checked bags from the car to the check-in area is straightforward.
Payment machines in front of P1 take cards and cash in Serbian dinars, and you pay before getting back into your car. Keep the entry ticket dry and easy to reach, since you need it twice: once at the pay machine and once at the exit barrier. If you are dropping someone off, pull into P1, park, help with bags, then exit again within the free 15-minute window to avoid any charge.
Practical tip: set a timer on your phone the moment you pull into P1 so you don’t burn money by forgetting the 15-minute cutoff.
