Business Club

T2 · A4-A5 Open · 06:00-22:00 Day pass $X

Ten minutes from some outlying A-gates sits Business Club

Business Club in T2 sits between Gates A4 and A5, post-security, and regulars treat it as a functional Priority Pass stop, not a destination. Hours run 06:00–22:00, so late-night departures outside that window are on your own at the public seating near A-gates.

Access runs through airline business/elite invitations in Terminal 2 plus Priority Pass and similar programs, with signage pointing upstairs near A4–A5. There is a posted day-pass price around $X, but most reviewers say they would not pay cash given the basic setup and limited buffet.

Food sits firmly in the “snack” category: think light bites instead of a full lunch at Gate A4. Reviews mention simple cold items and a small hot selection, topped up regularly but repetitive, which is why frequent flyers compare it unfavorably to bigger hub lounges and suggest eating properly elsewhere in BEG.

Drinks lean on self-serve machines and a small bar area, with coffee, soft drinks, and a few spirits poured into standard glasses near the back wall opposite the A5 windows. Nothing here screams premium, but it beats hunting for a working water fountain in the main T2 concourse.

Seating is mostly armchairs and small tables, laid out in a single rectangular room roughly over the A-gate corridor. Power outlets sit next to many of the armchairs, and one YouTube review notes Wi‑Fi as solid enough for browsing and email, even with several Priority Pass cardholders online during a mid-afternoon 15:00 bank of departures.

The bathrooms sit inside the lounge near the entrance desk by Gate A4, but there are no showers. If you need a proper refresh after an overnight coach leg into BEG, you’re stuck with sink-and-towel tactics or whatever facilities you can find in the main T2 restrooms.

Regular BA passengers say their flights often go from more distant A-gates, roughly a 10-minute walk from Business Club plus time for gate document checks. They tend to leave the lounge about 30 minutes before departure, which meshes with the airport’s habit of boarding early at some Schengen-adjacent stands.

What regulars actually do: Priority Pass holders drop in for 20–40 minutes for coffee, Wi‑Fi, and a seat away from the packed T2 public chairs, then move to their A-gate. If your flight is inside the 06:00–22:00 window and you already hold access, use it; if you’d be paying the ~$X walk-up rate, save the cash and buy a proper meal in the terminal instead.

One practical tip: if your boarding pass shows a far A-gate used by carriers like British Airways, set an alarm and walk out of Business Club at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure so the 10-minute walk and extra gate checks don’t turn into a last-call sprint.
