Just past security in BDA’s departures area, Kids Toys sells games, stuffed animals, small dolls and puzzle books that fit in a carry-on. Stock leans toward small, under-200 ml items and compact boxes that pass the “tray at security” test easily.

Prices run higher than downtown Bermuda shops; expect basic plush toys in the $15–$25 range and branded sets going to $40+. You pay for airport convenience, not bargains, so this is a last-minute stop, not a place to do full trip shopping.

Kids Toys usually opens with the first significant morning departures, around 6:00–6:30 a.m., and stays open until the final bank of evening flights. Hours flex with the schedule, so if you have a late-night departure on an off-peak day, shop earlier in the afternoon rather than cutting it close.

Inventory skews to younger children, roughly the 3–9 age range. Think sticker books, simple craft kits, coloring sets and small cars. Teen-friendly items are thinner on the ground; headphones, phone cases and similar gear are better sourced from the general duty free or newsstand nearby.

Gift wrapping is usually limited to basic bags and tissue, and returns are tricky once you’ve left Bermuda, so check boxes for damage and make sure batteries (if needed) are included. One practical move: let kids pick something under a pre-set dollar amount before you head to the gate to avoid last-minute debates at boarding.
