Gate-side caffeine fix in AQP’s T1

Deli Express sits in Terminal T1 at Rodríguez Ballón International Airport, right in the main post-security concourse near the domestic gates. It runs standard daytime hours that match most flight banks, so you usually find it open for early LATAM and Sky Airline departures. Think quick coffee stop, not a long sit-down meal.

As a straight coffee shop, Deli Express leans on espresso drinks, drip coffee, and basic teas, typically in the PEN 8–15 range depending on size and extras. Expect counter service, paper cups, and a few small tables where you can watch the boarding lines build up for flights to Lima and Cusco. Power outlets are limited, so don’t plan on charging a dead laptop here.

Food is grab-and-go: pre-made sandwiches, simple pastries, and packaged snacks, generally between PEN 10 and 25. The sandwiches tend to be fridge-cold, so if you care about texture, ask them to warm one for a minute before you pay. It’s airport-standard fare that works for a 45‑minute sit at the gate, not something to plan your layover around.

Lines spike about 45 minutes before each wave of departures, especially in the 6:00–8:00 and 17:00–19:00 windows, when two or three flights can board from adjacent gates. With only one counter, a “quick coffee” can stretch to 10–15 minutes if you hit it at the wrong time.

Tip: if you want coffee and a snack at Deli Express before a morning flight, stop here first, then head to security; average security time in T1 hovers around 15–20 minutes outside holidays, so you can drink while you walk to your gate instead of juggling cups in the queue.
