Chocolates and Sweets Shop

T1

Next to T1 duty free, Chocolates and Sweets Shop is the candy stop

This shop sits in Terminal T1 airside, just past security and close to the main duty free zone, so you can grab gifts without backtracking far from most gates. It focuses on boxed chocolates, regional sweets, and travel-sized treats that fit easily into cabin bags. Expect airport pricing, but you’ll usually find smaller souvenir boxes under 10–15 JOD alongside larger gift tins.

Most shelves lean on recognizable international brands plus a few Middle Eastern staples, so it’s an easy backup if you forgot to buy sweets in Amman city. The layout is straightforward: chocolate bars and praline boxes at eye level, bags of candy and nuts on lower racks, and premium boxes in a glass-front section. Staff generally ring things up fast, which helps if boarding starts in under 20 minutes.

Think of it as a last-call gift run in T1 rather than a place to browse for half an hour. You’ll see a lot of pre-wrapped assortments with airport-style “2 for” promos, often posted in both Arabic and English with prices clearly marked in JOD. If you care about freshness, look for production or expiry dates printed on the bottom or side of the boxes.

Practical tip: stop here after passport control but before you head down to distant gates, so you’re not speed-walking back uphill through T1 with a boarding call in your ear.
