Charter or Hajj flight out of Terminal 2? P3 is yours.

Parking P3 sits directly in front of Terminal 2 at Houari Boumediene Airport, about a 1 minute walk from the doors. It mainly serves charter and Hajj/Umrah passengers using T2, so you avoid the Terminal 1 and 4 traffic completely. If your boarding pass says Terminal 2, this is the closest long-stay option you get.

The lot runs as a long-stay car park with a daily cap of 1,200 DZD. Official pricing mirrors the other ALG car parks: first 30 minutes free, 75 DZD up to 1 hour, 180 DZD up to 3 hours, then 75 DZD per extra hour until you hit the 1,200 DZD daily maximum. That makes week-long pilgrimages or charter packages predictable to budget.

P3 is smaller than the main lots, with roughly 300 short-term spaces listed on airport information sites. It’s all open-air, directly road-side in front of Terminal 2, so you’re not dealing with shuttles or multi-level ramps. For late-night or early-morning departures from T2, walking across one access road in under a minute beats waiting for any bus.

There isn’t much crowd feedback online for long trips from P3, and no widespread complaints about safety or damage. The layout is simple: drive toward Terminal 2, follow P3 signs, take a ticket at the barrier, then pay at the machine on exit with the fee capped at 1,200 DZD per 24 hours. Keep the ticket dry and legible; the machines read the barcode.

Practical tip: if you’re dropping family for a charter flight at T2 and not staying, use the free first 30 minutes in P3 instead of stopping illegally on the terminal access road.
