Domestic Terminal 1 flyers park in P2 right at the front

Parking P2 sits directly in front of Terminal 1 at Houari Boumediene Airport, about a 1-minute walk from the doors, so it works well if you fly domestic and want to stay as close to the building as possible.

The lot mixes roughly 900 short-stay spaces with around 300 long-stay spaces, and it is the only ALG on-airport car park explicitly marked as long-stay, which matters if you plan to leave your car for several days instead of just a quick pickup.

Pricing is unified across ALG lots: the first 30 minutes are free, then it’s 75 DZD up to 1 hour, 180 DZD up to 3 hours, then 75 DZD per extra hour, capped at a daily maximum of 1,200 DZD in P2.

For true long stays, once you hit the 1,200 DZD daily cap, extra hours don’t keep stacking, so a 24-hour stop in P2 costs the same 1,200 DZD as roughly 16 paid hours, which reduces bill shock if a domestic flight on Terminal 1 shifts or runs late.

P2 functions as the main drop-off and pickup point for Terminal 1, so you’ll see a lot of short-term traffic cycling through the 900 short-stay spaces while the 300 long-stay spots tend to turn over slower and can sit further from the pedestrian exit.

Payment details aren’t clearly published beyond the standardized tariff, but third-party guides describing the 75 DZD hourly increments and 1,200 DZD daily limit suggest the same ticket-and-barrier system you find across ALG parking, with no special discount hacks mentioned.

Tip: If you expect to stay longer than about 8–9 hours at Terminal 1, just plan mentally for the full 1,200 DZD day rate in P2 and pick a spot slightly deeper in the lot so exiting traffic near the front rows doesn’t box you in at busy times.
