Restaurante Brasil

Local · Brazilian

T1 Open · 11:00 - 22:00 $$$$ Post-security

Feijoada shows up here every day from 11:00 to 22:00

Restaurante Brasil sits airside in T1 at Aracaju – Santa Maria Airport, after security and before the main boarding gates. It runs from 11:00 to 22:00, so it actually covers both late lunch and most evening departures. Expect mid-range prices (about $$ by airport standards), more than a snack bar, less than a steakhouse.

The menu leans local Brazilian instead of generic airport burgers. The headliner is the feijoada, a proper black-bean-and-pork plate that eats like a full meal, not a side. You’ll usually see it portioned for one, with rice, farofa and maybe orange slices, and it lands in the R$40–R$60 band depending on sides and drinks. If you only have 45–60 minutes before boarding, this is about the heaviest dish you can safely order and finish.

Beyond feijoada, expect standard prato feito style plates and a few simpler grilled items, with soft drinks and cold beer in the R$8–R$18 range. Service runs on typical Brazilian airport time: not slow, not rushed, but don’t cut it close if you’re on a tight connection out of T1. Figure 10–20 minutes from order to table for hot mains at normal traffic times between 13:00 and 20:00.

Portions sit in the medium-to-large camp, so one main course and one drink usually covers a normal meal for most travelers. Cards are widely accepted, including major international credit brands, and the bill typically lands in the R$60–R$90 range per person if you add dessert or an extra drink. It’s a sit-down setup, not a grab-and-go kiosk, so plan at least a 30-minute stop.

Tip: If you want the signature feijoada before an evening flight, aim to sit down by 20:30 at the latest; the kitchen technically stays open until 22:00, but late-night service in T1 can drift and you don’t want your main showing up during final call.
