Travel Essentials Shop

Gate-side basics in T1

Just past security in T1, Travel Essentials Shop covers the airport basics so you don’t have to backtrack into Abha city for a forgotten item. It sits in the main departures area, a short walk from most domestic gates, and focuses on last-minute grab-and-go needs rather than souvenirs.

The shop usually opens ahead of the first morning departures around 06:00 and stays open through the late-night flights, so you can still pick up items after an evening arrival. It’s fully airside, so you only access it after check-in and security at Abha International Airport (AHB) T1.

Stock leans on practical travel gear: neck pillows, basic headphones, phone cables, and universal adapters typically run in the SAR 30–80 range. You’ll also see standard toiletries like toothbrush kits, razors, and travel-sized hygiene products, handy if you’re connecting through AHB or leaving on a same-day return.

Snacks and drinks take up another chunk of the shelves, with bottled water, soft drinks, and packaged biscuits at prices a bit higher than Abha city supermarkets but normal for T1 departures. Expect single bottles of water around SAR 3–5 and small snack packs in the SAR 5–10 band.

You won’t find specialized electronics or premium brands here; it’s more of a stop for something you forgot than a place to browse for upgrades. Use it to plug a gap in your packing list, then head straight to your gate so you’re not queuing behind a busload of late arrivals.
