One hour by road from AEB to downtown Baise

Taxi is the straightforward door-to-door option from Baise (Bose) Bama Airport T1, especially if you are heading beyond nearby Tianyang and don’t want to juggle infrequent buses. From the terminal forecourt, licensed taxis line up outside arrivals and run on a meter; expect drivers to quote rough ranges that match the posted reference fares.

To Tianyang town, the ride runs about 30 minutes and usually costs CNY 30–40, making it the shortest and cheapest airport run from AEB. This is basically a local hop, so it works well for late-night arrivals or early departures where you just want a quick car and minimal planning.

Tianyang Railway Station sits a bit closer than town in practice, with rides around 25 minutes and fares in the CNY 20–30 range from T1. If you’re connecting to regional trains rather than staying in Baise, this is the most efficient use of a taxi and keeps both time and cost down.

Downtown Baise is much farther: plan on roughly 1 hour 15 minutes on the road and a fare in the CNY 140–150 band from the airport. That price jump surprises first-timers because the city looks “nearby” on a map; factor it into your budget if your hotel is in Youjiang District or other central areas.

Baise Railway Station sits between Tianyang and downtown in both distance and price, with typical rides of about 1 hour 5 minutes and fares around CNY 110–120. If you’re catching a longer-distance train the same day, going straight to the station from AEB can save roughly CNY 30–40 versus heading to a downtown hotel first.

There’s no strong pattern of complaints in recent reports, but as usual in smaller Chinese airports it helps to confirm “dazhibiao” (use the meter) before you get in, especially for the longer downtown and Baise Railway Station runs. Carry small bills (CNY 10s and 20s) since drivers may not have change for large notes after late flights.

One practical tip: decide your exact target — Tianyang, Tianyang Railway Station, Baise Railway Station, or downtown Baise — before you reach the taxi queue, and keep those names written in Chinese on your phone so you can point and go without back-and-forth at the curb.
