Bus 40-60 min

Tickets run about CNY 20 for the Airport Shuttle Bus

The Airport Shuttle Bus links Baise Bama Airport (AEB, T1 only) with central Baise in roughly 40–60 minutes, depending on traffic on the G78 Baotian Expressway. Buses are standard intercity coaches with luggage storage underneath and basic seating inside, so expect a simple ride, not a luxury setup.

Services depart from outside T1’s arrivals exit, just past the curb where taxis queue, and drop off in Baise’s urban area (Youjiang District) for around CNY 20–25 per person. You pay the driver on board in cash, and small bills (CNY 10 and CNY 20 notes) make the handoff faster when a full flight has just landed.

Journey time averages 40–60 minutes for the roughly 50 km run into town, but late-afternoon traffic around Youjiang District can push it closer to the 60-minute side. First departures typically line up with the day’s early China Southern and China Eastern arrivals, and the last bus waits for the final evening flights, so if your flight is on the schedule, a bus usually is too.

The airport doesn’t publish a tight frequency like “every 30 minutes”; buses instead tend to depart in sync with inbound flights, so you may wait 10 minutes after clearing arrivals or as long as 40 minutes if you just missed one. If your arrival into T1 is after 22:00, check the day’s flight timetable at the information desk before heading outside, to avoid standing at the stop longer than needed.

At T1, follow the English "Shuttle Bus" signs from baggage belt 1 toward Exit 3; the stand is roughly 150 meters from the carousel area. In Youjiang District, the main stop is near the Baise urban coach station, which makes onward transfers to regional buses straightforward and keeps taxi rides on the city side to 10–15 minutes for most hotels.

One tip: if you land with checked bags and plan to catch the shuttle, grab cash from the ATM near T1’s exit before walking out; mobile payments sometimes work, but a simple CNY 50 note for two tickets keeps boarding quick when the bus fills with one aircraft’s worth of passengers.
