Near ADB’s Domestic departures, Simshop is the quick tech stop
Just past security in the Domestic terminal, Simshop focuses on last-minute electronics and travel accessories rather than snacks or magazines. Expect phone chargers, power banks, basic headphones, and USB-C cables that actually work with newer Android phones. Prices run higher than downtown Izmir shops, but in line with other airside stores at Adnan Menderes.
Simshop sits along the main Domestic concourse, roughly a 3–5 minute walk from the central security checkpoint, so you don’t have to stray far from gates like 104 and 105. Stock leans heavily toward mobile accessories, with some plug adapters that fit Type C sockets used across Türkiye and Europe. This is more of a utility stop than a browsing destination.
Opening hours generally track peak flight banks, with doors open from early morning departures around 05:00 until late evening flights after 22:00 in the Domestic terminal. Expect standard brands rather than luxury electronics: think generic power banks in the 10,000–20,000 mAh range, basic Bluetooth earbuds, and low- to mid-priced phone cases that fit common iPhone and Samsung models.
Simshop is airside in Domestic, not in the International terminal, so International passengers can’t easily backtrack. If your phone battery is under 40% before boarding from Domestic, this is the place to grab a power bank or cable, then head straight to your gate instead of lingering; lines at security in ADB can spike past 20 minutes at morning peaks.
