Gate-side Haribo fix before passport control

Five minutes from most International gates at ADB, Haribo is the bright candy kiosk you spot on the way to passport control. This isn’t a full supermarket, just a focused stand of gummies and branded souvenirs inside the International terminal, post-security.

Expect mostly Turkish- and German-market Haribo packs, including the classic Goldbears, Happy Cola, and various seasonal mixes, usually in 80–200 g bags. Prices run higher than downtown İzmir supermarkets, but still in normal airport range: think roughly 40–80 TRY per bag, more for big souvenir tins or mixed boxes.

The shop leans hard into giftable items: Haribo branded mugs, plush Goldbears, and multipacks that bundle 5–10 small bags. If you need quick thank-you gifts for kids or coworkers and don’t want duty-free liquor, this is the fastest grab in the International terminal.

Selection is heavier on fruit and cola gummies than on licorice or sugar-free options, so if you’re picky about specific lines like Lakritz, you might leave with a backup choice instead. Stock turns quickly on weekend evenings when several European flights leave within a 90‑minute window, so earlier in the day gives you better variety.

Practical tip: pay in Turkish lira or by card; euro cash usually works but the rate at the till is worse than what you’ll get on your bank card, especially for a small 50–60 TRY bag of Goldbears.
