Figure on airport pricing: a basic espresso in İzmir usually runs under 40 TRY in the city, but here you’ll pay more, especially for larger lattes or iced drinks. Food leans toward standard Turkish café items and simple sandwiches rather than full plates, so think quick bites between flights instead of a sit-down meal.

Seating is shared with the general gate area, and tables fill quickly during the morning 06:00–09:00 bank and the busy 18:00–21:00 departures. If you need to plug in a laptop, scout early for power outlets, as only a handful of spots near the wall meet that need and they’re the first to go when several flights board at once.

Service pace matches typical Domestic-terminal traffic: expect a short queue during peak hours when two or three departures board at nearby gates. Staff handle orders at the counter; you’ll usually wait a few minutes for hot drinks or toasted items, so don’t cut it close if you’re in the final 20 minutes before boarding.

Gaga Cafe works best as a backup if the more recognizable chains closer to your gate have lines snaking into the corridor. Walk past once to check how many people are in line; if you see more than six or seven ahead of you, skip anything that needs prep and grab bottled water and pre-packed snacks instead.
