T2’s lone Travel Convenience Store keeps last-minute needs simple
This small Travel Convenience Store in Terminal T2 sits airside after security, so you can grab basics without backtracking landside. Signage sometimes just says “Convenience Store,” but staff confirm it’s the same shop serving all domestic departures from Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport (ACX). It’s one of the few places still open when later evening flights push past 20:00.
Expect a tight mix of snacks, bottled drinks, and a few instant noodle options, all priced higher than downtown Xingyi but normal for a regional airport. You’ll see familiar Chinese brands of chips and cookies plus 500 ml water bottles that usually run a bit more than in city shops. Shelves also carry small packs of tissues and basic over-the-counter items, useful if you rushed through Xingyi city without stopping at a supermarket.
Assume basic payment coverage: UnionPay almost always works in Guizhou airports, and some counters in T2 at ACX now accept mobile wallets like Alipay and WeChat Pay alongside cash in CNY. Cards tied to foreign banks are hit-or-miss, so have at least ¥50 in cash if you’re counting on a snack run before a 2–3 hour domestic hop. Staff typically speak Mandarin; don’t expect guaranteed English support at this smaller regional field.
Stock rotates slowly in airports this size, so check expiry dates on dairy drinks or packaged bread before you pay. If your flight from ACX in T2 leaves around lunchtime, buy water and something filling here right after security; gate areas closer to boarding can feel bare, with only vending machines as backup.
