Guizhou rice wine bottles and chili pastes line the shelves here

Guizhou Souvenir Shop sits airside in T2 at Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport, a few minutes’ walk after security toward the main domestic boarding gates. Exact hours aren’t posted, but it generally opens around the first morning departures and closes after the last evening flight, roughly 07:30–22:00. This is one of the few spots in the terminal focused on local Guizhou products rather than generic duty-free candy.

Expect pre-packed Huangguoshu chili sauce, Maotai-region style baijiu in 125–500 ml bottles, local tea tins, and vacuum-packed snacks, most in the ¥20–¥120 range. Check the alcohol labels carefully: many souvenir bottles are 100 ml or less, so they clear the standard 100 ml cabin liquid rule without issue, but larger ones need to go in checked bags. Snacks like spicy tofu, cured meats, and dried noodles are sealed and usually fine for domestic flights within China.

If you want something light for the flight, look for individually wrapped rice cakes and sesame snacks around ¥10–¥25 per pack, which sit near the front counter. Fragile ceramics and tea sets tend to be placed on higher shelves toward the back; staff usually have bubble wrap on hand, but ask in Chinese or show the item and say “baozhuang” so they wrap it properly for overhead bins.

Practical tip: shop here after clearing security in T2, then keep receipts handy; occasionally security at smaller Chinese airports double-checks alcohol purchases against boarding passes at final inspections before boarding domestic flights from Xingyi.
