Woonoo Ventures

Souvenirs

T2

Just past check-in in Terminal 2, Woonoo Ventures is the main airport stop for Ghana souvenirs before security. It sits in the public area of T2, so friends and family seeing you off can shop too. Expect shelves of small gifts rather than big luggage pieces or electronics.

This is a souvenirs-only shop in T2, geared toward last-minute gifts tied to Ghana and Accra. You’ll see items like printed T-shirts, fridge magnets, small sculptures, and simple kente-style accessories rather than high-end boutique fashion. Stock skews touristy, so think quick tokens, not gallery-grade art.

Prices sit in the mid-range for an airport: more than downtown Accra markets, less than the priciest duty free in T3. You’ll find plenty under the USD 10 mark, especially keyrings and magnets, while larger carved items jump quickly in price. Cards are usually accepted, but have a backup 50–100 Ghana cedis in cash in case the POS is down.

Since Woonoo Ventures is on the T2 landside, you can shop here even if your international flight actually departs from T3 after a transfer. The flip side: once you head to T3 and clear security, you can’t come back. If you want something with “Ghana” printed on it for under USD 15, buy it here and don’t count on finding the same item airside.

Practical tip: build in an extra 10–15 minutes before check-in closes if you plan to browse Woonoo Ventures, as T2 queues can eat that time fast.
