Adubea Jensen

Near T3 departures, Adubea Jensen sells Ghanaian-made accessories

Just past security in Terminal 3, Adubea Jensen focuses on locally made fashion accessories and gift items, all produced in Ghana. You’ll see handbags, jewelry, and small gift pieces built around African prints and materials, clearly different from the generic duty free a few steps away. Prices sit in the mid-range for airport shopping, higher than basic souvenir stands in Accra but lower than luxury-brand duty free.

The shop sits airside in T3, so you need a same-day boarding pass and cleared security to visit; international departures use this terminal at Kotoka International Airport. If you are flying from T2 on a regional carrier, you won’t realistically have time to come over once you’ve checked in, since moving between terminals after security is not set up as a quick walk.

Most pieces here lean toward statement items rather than plain basics, with prints and beadwork that clearly read as Ghanaian. Expect single-item prices to land above what you’d pay in downtown Accra markets, but the trade-off is curated quality and airport-level quality control. If you only have 15–20 minutes before boarding starts, you can still browse a couple of shelves and pick up a smaller item like earrings or a bracelet.

Stock runs in small batches; once a specific print or colorway goes, it often doesn’t reappear that same week. Card payments are accepted in Ghana cedi and major foreign currencies via your bank’s conversion, which helps if you are running down your last 100–200 GHS in cash. One practical tip: take a quick photo of the store receipt right after purchase, in case you need it later for customs or expense claims.
