T3’s main electronics stop sits under the Smice Digital sign
Smice Digital sits in Terminal 3 after security, so you can pick up last‑minute tech without leaving the departures area. It’s one of the few electronics-focused shops in ACC T3, useful if something dies on a late-night departure. You’ll spot it in the central retail zone used by most international carriers out of T3.
Expect the basics more than high-end gear: phone chargers, universal travel adapters, earbuds, power banks, and a few Bluetooth speakers. Prices tend to run higher than downtown Accra; think paying an airport premium for a USB-C cable or replacement headphones. If you need a specific laptop accessory or camera lens, odds are low here.
Selection tilts toward common brands that work with iPhone and Android, plus generic items like HDMI cables and memory cards. Stock is best earlier in the day; evening flights out of T3 around 21:00–23:00 sometimes hit low inventory on popular cable types. Inspect packaging before paying, as returns after leaving Ghana are basically impossible.
Figure on spending 10–30 USD equivalent for most items, converted from Ghanaian cedi at the day’s rate. Card payment is standard, though smaller accessories sometimes ring faster in cash. If you’re on a tight turnaround between regional flights in T3, you can be in and out in under 10 minutes.
Tip: test your cable or power bank at a nearby seating area in T3 before boarding, so you have time to swap it if something’s off.
