Dufry Ghana

Duty Free

T3

Right after security in T3, Dufry Ghana is your duty free stop.

Dufry Ghana sits airside in Terminal 3, just past security and passport control, so you hit it before most ACC international gates. Shelves lean hard into spirits and tobacco, plus perfumes and cosmetics from the usual global brands. Prices run higher than downtown Accra shops but roughly in line with other African hub airports, so think standard airport mark-up, not bargain hunting.

Hours track T3’s long-haul banks, with the store typically open from early-morning departures around 05:00 through late-night flights close to midnight. That works for the big KLM, British Airways, and other European waves. If you land on a very late arrival into T3 after midnight, expect shutters down until the next departure window.

Spirits dominate the center floor: whisky, cognac, rum, and vodka in 1L and 750ml sizes, often bundled in twin-packs. You also get duty free cartons of cigarettes and some regional brands of liquor that can be harder to find outside Ghana. Perfume and skincare lines sit closer to the cash areas, with frequent promo stands pushing gift sets in the $40–$100 range.

One pass is usually enough here: there’s another Dufry-branded outlet near some gates, but the main T3 post-security store carries the deeper stock. If you want time to compare bottle sizes and promo packs without rushing, walk in right after security rather than leaving it until boarding starts.
