Gate-side in T1, Bocco covers the quick-coffee gap
Bocco sits airside in Terminal 1 at Aberdeen (ABZ), handy if your flight goes from the main domestic gates. It’s a small grab-and-go style spot rather than a sit-down restaurant, so think coffee in hand, bag over shoulder, and straight to security or boarding.
Opening hours track the usual morning departures, with doors typically open before the first 06:00–07:00 bank and running through the afternoon rush. Exact close time can slide with the schedule, but you’re fine for anything leaving before early evening out of T1. Late-night departures should have a backup plan elsewhere in the terminal.
Food is standard UK airport café fare: pre-made sandwiches, packaged snacks, and pastries, with prices hovering in the £4–£7 range for a basic bite. Coffee and soft drinks land in the £2.50–£4.50 band. Think functional fuel between security and gate, not a long lunch or elaborate breakfast spread.
There’s no full bar setup, so if you want a pint or cocktail before a Loganair or easyJet flight, you’ll need to walk to one of the larger T1 bars. Bocco works better as a “five minutes and done” stop: grab a latte, water, and something you can eat in row 18B without juggling a tray.
Practical tip: hit Bocco immediately after security in T1 to avoid doubling back to the central food options once your gate appears on the screens.
